We started February with a members-only meeting to elect 3 additional members of the pastoral search committee. The committee will include the 3 elected along with 3 appointed deacons. Please pray for our Pastoral Search Committee as they work diligently to find the Pastor who will guide our Youth as they grow in Christ.
We continue with the ‘A Great Cloud of Witnesses’ sermon series. Pastor Andrew’s message on the story of Noah highlighted God’s righteousness, and Pastor Ian also shared how Abraham’s obedience to God led to his blessing. On February 16, due to inclement weather, we quickly shifted to online worship. Pastor Ian explained how the events between Abraham and Isaac foreshadowed Jesus on the cross. We were also blessed with a guest speaker, Pastor Heusen Lam, who spoke about the apostle Andrew and the importance of working faithfully in the background.
Chinese Alpha is ongoing and participants were learning deeper.
Our children continue to grow in the Lord. Please pray that the children and their families are blessed through the lessons. Additionally, keep our teachers and staff in your prayers.
Additionally, nominations for the Deacon Board was opened up for submissions and closed on February 16th.
