Sunday School Guide – April 19


Here is a worship guide for you and your children to follow along at home.

1. Prayer

  • (Start with Dear Heavenly Father/ Dear God or Dear Lord Jesus Christ, and say the following in your own words)

  • Adoration – prayer of praise to God (how great/ awesome God is!)

    Confession – prayer of confession for our sins (confess any sin committed this past week)

    Thanksgiving – prayer of thanks for all the blessings God has given us

    Supplication (Intercession) – prayer for our church, our country, the world, for the pandemic, for

    those in need including ourselves, for our frontline workers, doctors, nurses, grocery workers and delivery staff, etc.

For pre-school to Grade 4: John 20:19-31

For Grades 5 & 6: John 20:19-31, Jude 17-25, Romans 12:2

Memory Verse: John 20:29

Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet believed.”

(Shorter underlined verse for pre school and JK only)

Be merciful for those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them.


Romans 12:2

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is… His good, pleasing, and perfect will.

  • Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for Your Son Jesus Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. I believe and trust Him as my Lord and Saviour. Please build up my faith and relationship with You through reading and understanding Your Word the Bible, and through praying to You everyday. This I humbly ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
